If you are on a low carb diet just like me you probably try to avoid smoothies because they are full of sugar. I am a smoothie lover and I didn’t want to give up on them. If you want to make a smoothie you have to be careful with the sweeteners you use and also certain fruits.
This pumpkin smoothie I made today is just perfect for this time of year! Enjoy!
¼ cup pumpkin purée, BPA-free, canned
¼ cup almond milk, unsweetened
1 scoop whey protein powder (vanilla or plain) or egg white powder
¼ cup plain full fat yogurt or coconut milk (60g / 2.1 oz)
